There she lies twisted
agonising in pain
shattered and broken
crying in vain!
Alas!!!
her cries go unheeded
carried by the wind
to ears which are deafened
and hearts which are hardened!
And than the truth dawns
that her life was ending
realising that the end
may just be a new begining!!
